Documentation for MW Small
The MW Small theme documentation aims to be your comprehensive guide to setting up and customising your site. WordPress themes can feel daunting at first, especially if you're new to the platform. We start with installation: download the mw-small.zip file from our downloads page, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Appearance › Themes and click Add New. Upload the archive, activate the theme and you're ready to explore. Our theme uses the WordPress Customizer extensively. Within Customize you can upload a logo, choose between a left or right sidebar and adjust colours to match your brand. The theme supports all standard post formats, enabling you to share images, galleries, videos and quotes elegantly. Widgets play an important role: there are seven widget areas, including sidebars and footers. We provide custom widgets for about pages, latest posts, social links and more. To fine‑tune your design further, the theme includes a field for custom CSS. You can insert your own styles without editing any core files.
